As a clinician, my work is built upon a strengths-based model, which focuses on what's going right in a person’s life. I work with my clients to identify past and present successes and use these assets to address the challenges being faced. My goal is to guide my clients away from negative or counter-productive behavior that is preventing them from achieving their goals.
EMDR - for working through trauma or blocks that are disturbing or debilitating, and re-directing people towards progress and healing.
YOGA - for relieving pain and stress, or working through depression and anxiety.
BREATHING EXERCISES - to help people connect with a deeper aspect of themselves.
BIBLIO THERAPY - providing supplemental reading recommendations, so people can continue their work outside of our sessions.
DREAM WORK - for people to tap into the important messages of the unconscious mind.
VISUALIZATION - using imagery in the mind's eye to help people modify unhealthy or distressing behavior.
COGNITIVE BEHAVIORAL TECHNIQUES - to reframe thought processes that have become unhealthy or inaccurate.
ART EXPLORATION - as an alternative outlet for the expression of ideas and emotions.
