What is Life Coaching?

Coaching is this amazing process that focuses on the here and now: the moment that Deepak Chopra calls, “the field of all possibility.” The difference between coaching and regular counseling is that coaching is present-oriented, it is like looking through the front window of your life rather than looking at what has passed by. It is focusing on what you want to see in the future, not what you didn’t see in the past.

As your coach, it is my job and privilege to help you define exactly what you want your life to look like.

Together, we design the coaching process to fit your needs and goals. I act as your advocate, holding your vision and helping create the blueprints for your life step by step. I will support you when you need it most, and I will also celebrate your successes.

A Life Coach is:

  • There to support however you personally get from point A to point B.
  • Outside of the frame of your day-to-day life and can see things that you may not.
  • There to help you achieve your success, however you define it.
  • Your own personal advocate, confidant, and trusted ally!

Some coaches have a very strict format for coaching programs while others have a more flexible approach. My commitment is to design programs that will vary from client to client based on his or her individual needs and goals. We will work together at your first visit to come up with a plan that is perfect for you. Programs I offer include:

  • 6, 9, and 12-week coaching programs*
  • 1-3 hour brainstorming sessions. These are particularly good when you are struggling with a particular decision you are trying to make, or when coming up with a plan for action in any given area of your life.

I offer a 30 minute free consultation to see if this is a good fit for both of us.

Feel free to email me about pricing and scheduling your free consult! I look forward to hearing from you.

* Most coaching sessions last 50 minutes, with email support throughout as needed. I am also available for brief emergency calls when unexpected events or circumstances arise.
